Beautiful Crazy by Luke Combs
+ Acoustic Version & Live Version Featuring Leon Bridges
Wedding First Dance Choreography Tutorial

skill level: beginner

Style: INTIMATE WITH LOTS OF TWIRLS

ABOUT THIS TUTORIAL

Beautiful Crazy by Luke Combs is such a sweet country wedding first dance song. We kept this dance fairly simple in its choreography to highlight the pretty moments of the song and allow you to be present while dancing, without having to think or remember — or look like you are thinking and remembering — overly complicated choreography. This tutorial will teach you how to execute all the beginner-friendly steps in the video above, and includes an optional LIFT during the musical crescendo. Because all of my tutorials teach you how to do each step individually, without throwing you in the deepend of choreography first, you will have the skills to apply these steps to other music for dancing later on in the night (and throughout your marriage!) as well as to the alternate versions of this song, including the acoustic version of this song and the live version of Beautiful Crazy featuring Leon Bridges. When you enroll, you’ll learn all the steps in the video above plus my fool-proof way of putting it together so you look and feel natural and relaxed during your first dance.

Frequently Asked Questions
About This Tutorial

  • Of yourse I’m going to say YES, you can learn to dance for your wedding online and quickly, even if you've never danced a day in your life. Like learning a new language, learning to dance takes effort and consistency. You won't be able to just watch the videos and then magically be able to dance if you don't actually practice the steps. But I promise, this is still the easiest-to-learn wedding dance tutorial that exists online, IMHO. Some couples will find this online method of learning even easier than in-person lessons because you will see exactly how the steps are supposed to look before you even try them.

  • This tutorial takes the average beginner couple approximately two to three hours to complete, including practice time between steps. If you have the time, I recommend focusing on one step per practice session. It will take you a little less than a week to complete if you break it apart into one or two sections per day. If you are a marathon learner or test-crammer, you might set aside several hours on the weekend to learn each step in the course before putting it together into choreography. You’ll still need to practice the dance leading up to your wedding to build muscle memory!

  • Yes! In the promo video above, we left out the second verse, but the videos inside the tutorial teach you choreography to the entire song. The choreography section also includes modifications you may want to add, like a lift or a kissing dip, that are not included in the video above.

  • You’ll have access for a year from the date of purchase. You don’t need a year to learn, and most couples do all their learning in a compressed time frame once they feel the pressure of their looming wedding date. But I want you to be able to enroll when it makes sense for you and work on this at your leisure, without worrying about any dates except your wedding date. Wedding planning is stressful! Learning to dance is supposed to be fun!
